From the AI Bot and forum history, there seems to be an unlimited match format available, but I'm not seeing it under my match length options, nor as an option when inviting others. Is it no longer available?

Past matches listed in your profile give the date and time but not the year. This is fine for recent matches, but when you are searching for when you last played someone the year is rather relevant.

You should be able to resign a match when your on the bar. If your unable to come down shouldnt matter...i know its on auto-roll for DMP but if you decide to Resign the Match you should be allowed to.

I wonder if it would be possible to add a column in the profile page which counts the games from 1 (last played) to whatever. I ask because I realise that the last 25 games played affect a player's ratings, and we all (especially me) blow up badly on occasion. Given this circumstance I frequently count 25 games back to see how many more low PR games I need to play to erase the poor ones. As only so many games fill a page I lose my place often when screening down and have to start again...

Device push notifications are coming soon for scheduled matches and other things. This is an idea from Reddit to extend this to handle correspondance matches.

Is there an updated key for match review icons?

The last changes rendered the mouse unusable to play. The rolls keep on undoing, without activating the Undo button.

I’d like to suggest adding a training or tutor mode to the bot matches. I usually play the bot at World Class level, but what I’d find most valuable is being able to review the match afterwards and see my blunders, errors, and missed opportunities directly within BackgammonHub. Something similar to XG’s training mode would be ideal — where you can step through each move, view suggested alternatives, and understand why a particular move was stronger. Unfortunately, XG doesn’t run properly on Android anymore, so having this function built into BackgammonHub would make it the perfect tool for study and improvement. I’m not sure which analysis depth your bot currently uses after the match (e.g., 1-ply, 2-ply, or deeper), but I’ve noticed that sometimes moves marked as “wrong” under 2-ply turn out correct when re-analyzed at higher depth in XG. A training mode that either allows users to recheck key positions at higher ply or focus on blunders and major errors only would make the feedback far more useful. This feature would make BackgammonHub not only a place to play, but also an excellent learning platform for improving skill level and decision quality. Kind regards, Karl Simpson
