Automatic deadlines / tournaments on auto pilot ?

Thinking at the possibility of optionally running a multi-day tournament on auto pilot.
The Start of the tournament is manually clicked (after players are added and manually checked in by the TD), and the parameters are set, for example 1 week (or maybe only 5 days etc) for all matches in a round to be completed.
And HERE comes the feature I'm asking for: if the TD ticks this option, for any matches that are not yet completed until the deadline (the players did not agreed on a match schedule date and hour), Hub will automaticlaly schedule their match to start at the deadline time set by the TD. Both players will lose by forfeit if they are not online at the table and clicked start game (picked a letter from ABCDE) at the mentioned deadline time. If only one player is online and picked a letter, then that player will receive the win by forfeit from his opponent.
Will also be helpful if Hub will send an automatic email to all players still alive in the tournament informing them of the deadline (day & hour) of each new started round.

I like this idea, but seems like quite a lot of work to implement. Hub used to let TD specify the start date for rounds but it wasn't implemented very well and caused confusion so I took it out.
Will keep this on the back burner...
