I have added a feature to detect when a move you submit is taking a long time (with spinner showing). It will now warn after 3 seconds and give the option to refresh the page.
I'd appreciate if you can report back a) if you see the warning, b) if refreshing the page fixes the issue.
If you have a poor connection you might see the warning more often. If you refresh the page and it doesn't reload then most likely there is a connection problem between you and the server somewhere (because Hub runs in Amazon Cloud and has never had any downtime).

This has just happened to me playing a bot game. I played the first roll and when I wanted to press the dice a small circle on the left went round and round. On another query (sorry if it is elementary) how do I get to play with white checkers? I only seem to be allocated brown? I have looked at the setting option and if it is there, it is not obvious.

It has happened a few times. Only ive got around it by leaving the match and re entering. Only that didnt work on these 2 occasions. I just dont want it happening in a ladder match. I use an iPad version 7th Generation. OS 18.3.1

Royston Olner 🇬🇧 (rolner23) can I ask if you have a good network connection and also if you use a VPN as these can cause issues.
It's very strange if the issue isn't fixed by reloading the page.
Next time it happens could you email the match link to admin@backgammonhub.com

Royston Olner 🇬🇧 (rolner23), sorry you had an issue. It's definitely not a general problem as there are 500+ matches a day without issue.
What device are you using? Did you try refreshing the page when the issue occurred? Would like to help get this resolved for you!
