the famously backgammon obsessed penguin only population of the Heard & McDonald Islands can select their flag - I don't think Scotland should be treated worse than penguins although some may disagree.

As to confusion - not wholly convinced as many are too small to actually be sure and there does not appear to be roll/mouseover text to let users know so its a bit of a guess as the time zone can be set independantly.

Isn't this feature to help with arranging fixtures by making folks aware of time zones and not about national identity? A downside of introducing more flags would be that it confuses those not familiar with them.

Not forgetting the Crown Dependencies, i.e the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
