Unless you play blitz or speed setting, who stops you to take your time for 5-10 seconds before you make your first play in every game ?

Yes, you will lose a couple seconds from your time bank every game, but unless you are a very slow player during the whole match, that should certainly not be a problem for you when not playing in blitz or speed mode.
