Streaming mode

I do quite a bit of streaming of live matches and it would be really great if Hub could have a similar mode to Heroes, where spectators can see on-the-fly analysis, as it makes it a much more informative experience (as well as sparing the commentators some blushes when they call decisions wrong :) ). Perhaps should be up to the TD to enable or disable per match?

Julia Hayward (julia) am just going through the feature requests. One issue with this feature is that a player might log in using a 2nd account and see the analysis in another window as they are playing, which is clearly not fair.
How should access to the live analysis be controlled... how does it work on Heroes for high profile / high stakes matches?

Alfie Kirkpatrick [Developer] On Heroes it's taken on trust that the players are not looking at the analysis (and missed doubles are concealed until the cube is offered, or the end of the game) or any broadcast thereof. A determined cheat could find other ways, in any case!

Julia Hayward (julia) thanks Julia that's helpful. While cheating is of course always possible by other means, I don't want people to accuse Hub of assisting cheats in any way. Is the Heroes mode used for high profile matches, because knowing you just missed a double is valuable info! I'm a bit surprised if Heroes is operating this way.

Hi Julia Hayward (julia) I would like to do this but it's a fair bit of work to implement and would add server cost (each move would need to be analysed).
It ties in nicely with another request which is to allow bot play against GNUBG engine.
